This page is a collection of questions and answers about kendo; Kendo Q&A.

Since kendo is not as popular as it should be, there are not many instructors that kendo practitioners can ask questions of, in countries other than Japan.

Besides, due to a traditional kendo training method, many kendo-ka do not know why we do what we do.

The traditional training method is "do what teachers tell us to do without asking them why". This is a great method to improve skills but is a great way to lose traditions such as the philosophy behind the skills.

On top of it, since kendo is not very popular yet, many want to ask about kendo. I am sure that there are many people who have the same kinds of questions.

Here I would like to share the questions and the answers about kendo with you.

You can now ask questions here directly!

And if you have answers, go ahead and answer some questions.

We are here to prevent wrong ideas about kendo from taking over the real kendo.

I appreciate your questions and participation!
