To get shiai review

Is it rude or not to ask a judge some questions when shiai is over? I mean asking such questions like "What was bad in my shiai?", "why wasn't my kote counted, I thought it was a good one?", "why was his strike counted since it seemed to me it was not a strike at all?" etc.

Kendo-Guide.Com: Sorry for not being able to answer for a long time. Assuming that you do not know these judges, you should not ask them why your strike did not count or why your opponent's counted. You should ask your teacher. You are simply questioning their skills if you ask such questions.

Now if you know them, you can ask them what you did wrong.

The key is that you should ask what you can improve, not reasons why you did not get POINTS.

Hope this helps.
