difference between tile and wooden floor?
by: Anbu bee

What about flat tiles?

Kendo-Guide.Com: It is very sticky and you will find it hard to slide on the tiled floor. But there is as good comment, ?Sticky Foot in Okuri-ashi by: John M.?on how to deal with sticky feet.

We all know it is hard to find an ideal place. Even if you have wooden floor, if it is varnished, then it still sticks.

So the bottom line is that you have to know how kendo footwork feels and then if you don?t have good wooden floor, you have to come up with a good practice method like mentioned in the comment introduced above.

Hope this helps.
