Is life insurance necessary to participate in Kendo with armor?

Until I bought bogu I'd never heard of Kendo needing Kendo specific life insurance to practice it, is it necessary and if so how do I get it?

Do I have to register and pay somewhere or what?

Answer: Thank you for sharing this with us. I have never heard such thing. Maybe there is martial arts insurance? I cannot help you with this topic. Hope someone else can. I am sorry.
